Cristina & Lui Winter Wedding | Rosa's Place
By this time of year we often don't want to hear about winter anymore, but this winter wedding definitely is one we have been excited to show off. Cristina and Lui chose a winter wedding that had so many special touches and unique elements. Our crafty bride, Cristina, had her hands in all of the creative decorative parts of their big day. Her receiving table and center pieces were all done by her and her helpful hubby. The attention to detail is what set the mood for their gorgeous wedding.
We started off in their home with detail and preparation photos while the couple got ready for their "I Do's." Once everyone was dressed and ready, Cristina and Lui joined hands at a door with the wedding party and their immediate families to join in a prayer. After the prayer they did a "first look" (this is when the couple sees each other before the ceremony). Although moments like this only seem to last a second we hope our photos helped to capture that moment Lui first laid eyes on Cristina as his bride. Having the opportunity to do "first look" gave us a chance to spend some time on portraits and allowed this couple to have exactly the type of reception they had hoped for. The couple married at Rosa's Place in Woodbridge, Ontario. Following the ceremony they went right into their first dance and then it was time for their guests to eat and enjoy.
It was a fantastic day with such great people and although the winter was cold this wedding had nothing cold about it. Cristina and Lui were so excellent to work with, they made us feel right at home. We wish them the very best and a happy life together.
