Amanda & James' Caledon Engagement Session: Film Noir Theme
Engagement shoots don't always have to follow the same rules. This particular couple, Amanda and James, decided on a themed photo shoot in addition to their traditional engagement photos. It was a fun day and a great opportunity for us to get to know this couple before their big day.
Our day began with Amanda's makeup consultation, at which point we made decisions about her makeup for the wedding day.
We had a local pub, The Black Bull, allow us the use of their space for the film noir themed portion of the shoot. The couple got into their outfits and character and we shot a series of photos that told a story. Following the film noir shoot we took some timeless photos of the couple outdoors. We captured the candid moments of the couple and now have a great collection of photos for their guest signing book.
We would like
to thank The Black Bull Pub located in the heart of downtown Bolton. Not only
did it provide a great set for the photos, but our dinner following the session
was excellent!
